Emission extraction as a personal protection system

Our molecular filter systems eliminate a wide range of pollutants that pose a risk to people, such as:
Solvents, acid gases, ozone and others.

Technical description:

Our systems use high-quality broadband
Activated carbon is used. The filter housing is made of stainless steel 1.4301.
(Aluminum powder-coated in the desired color is also available upon request)
The filter housing contains the pre-filter, the activated carbon filter, the particulate matter filter and an extremely quiet EC fan.
The EC fan keeps the required volume flow constant, even when filter contamination increases, through permanent differential pressure monitoring.

Pre-filter
The ambient air is pre-filtered using an easily replaceable pre-filter of filter class G4. The pre-filter is designed for large volume flows and long filter life.

HEPA filter H11
The particles are separated using a high-performance particulate matter filter

Activated carbon types and suitability

  • C1 against odors from offices, laboratories, hospitals, halls, kitchens. Against solvent vapors, ozone, exhaust odors and general hydrocarbon compounds
  • C3 generally against acid gases, mercaptans and thiols, against odors from sewage treatment plants, putrefaction
  • C5 generally against alkaline gases such as ammonia and amines, against odors from animal husbandry and slaughterhouses.
  • C9 suitable for air filtration at high humidity
  • CX for specific applications (formaldehyde fumes, mercury fumes, etc.

  • Cylinder filled with activated carbon granules
  • Easy to replace with bayonet lock
  • Due to corrosion, galvanized cylinders should only be used for unimpregnated activated carbon (e.g. C1).
  • Volume flow / cylinder = 100 m3/h
  • Pressure loss at 100m3/h =150 PA

Application

  • Odor filtration for supply and exhaust air in comfort and technical areas
  • Pre-filtration necessary to protect the activated carbon
  • Ideal operating temperature 40°C
  • Ideal relative humidity < 70%
  • For optimal performance of the activated carbon, a contact time of 0.1 - 0.2 s should be aimed for. This corresponds to around 40% of the declared nominal volume flow
